Oh, what a Night

Good morning! I’m a little tired, how about you? I used to stay out all night and wake up early ready to do it all again. Hahaha not anymore.

Yesterday was the open house for the Freedom Festival art show in Provo. My hubby and I went on a date to the open house last night and then out for a little dinner at P.F. Chang’s. What a night! The weather was warm without being hot, the crowds were minimal without being desolate, the art was inspiring… I genuinely think it couldn’t have been more perfect.

My piece, Child Divine, is hanging in the Covey Center for the Arts right there on Center Street in Provo. It’s so weird to be a part of these things. I feel like I spent so many years watching other folks live this artist life. And I didn’t know if I would ever dare attempt to have my work hung on these walls. But it is there… and that is wonderful. I am living this artist life and it is more intimidating and difficult and messy than I thought it would be. But. The connections I have made, the progress I have experienced, the art I have created… it’s beautiful. It is.

Thank you for participating in my journey. Thank you for taking the time to see my work. Thank you for being here.
