About
Hey! I'm Brooke. I'm a Utah-based folk artist. I work mainly with gouache (pronounced gwash). I love bright colors, high contrast, and intricate details. The natural world is so inspiring to me, and I love to paint plants and animals and include symbolism and meaning into each piece.

Summer Picnic -- Watermelon Art

Sweet Pea
Crisp, green, and snappy Tendrils — hold tight the trellis Stretching towards the sun This time of year in Utah, one can grow a few things and my favorite are sweet Sugar Snap Peas. I have a small row of them right in an empty flower bed. I can't wait until my kids can pluck sweet little crisp pods off the vines for a snack.
