Fairy Tale Shoes

This collection was created with the hope of being accepted to an art show about myths and legends. Each piece is a shoe from a fairy tale that gives its wearer something special -- some divine or mystical help or boon.

I wanted to explore the ways we hope our lives might be affected by gifts from supernatural sources. I wanted to consider how hard we pray for help and what that help has looked like in the stories we tell.
